Karthik has formally announced his decision to take a plunge in politics.

In the past few days, reports said that the actor might take up politics full time. Initially the actor had denied them as mere rumors. Now he has made up his mind to enter politics.

Though he is yet to decide on whether to join a party or float his own out fit.

But reports suggest Karthik may join Forward Bloc.

Karthik himself said that he has got an invitation from the All-India Forward Bloc.

Karthik has been invited to the party’s national conference to be held in Dhanbad beginning 16 December.

Reports say the actor would be appointed as party office-bearer.

Karthik said he is taking the plunge following the good response he received from the public for his organization Saranalayam.

It may be recalled that Karthik has been running the social service organization Saranalayam. He has been holding meetings and conferences in various parts of the State attracting good crowds.
