Director Karthick Naren turns actor!

Young maker Karthick Naren had made his debut with the 2016 flick Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru aka D16 which starred Rahman and Yashika Aanand, and the crime thriller was a surprise success at the box office. The director then began his next project Naragasooran.
While the multistarrer, featuring Arvind Swamy, Sundeep Kishan, Shriya Saran, Aathmika and Indarajith Sukumaran has wrapped shoot before months and has been getting delayed, the director is expected to team up with macho hero Arun Vijay who's fresh from the success of the suspense thriller Thadam.
On the other hand, Karthick Naren will be returning on screen as an actor, with Sundeep Kishan starrer Kannaadi directed by Thirudan Police and Ulkuthu maker Caarthick Raju, and the movie will also feature Cuckoo fame Malavika Nair in an important role. Both Karthick Naren and Malavika Nair will have extended cameos.
