The people's struggle to save farmers from the Hydrocarbon project in Neduvasal is gaining momentum as the protests have started spreading to other parts of Tamil Nadu. A few months back, several farmers in Tamil Nadu ended their lives as they were cornered to that extreme decision by various reasons including monsoon failure and government's apathy.

Many celebrities from Kollywood have joined the youngsters of TN in support of farmers. Now the youngest Tamil filmmaker Karthick Naren, the director of the critically acclaimed super hit 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru' has taken an inspirational step in that direction. He has decided to adopt a struggling farmer's family and take care of their financial requirements.
