During the shoot of Oopiri/Thozha, Nagarjuna and Karthi bonded so great that, speaking at the audio release function of the bi-lingual, the Akkineni actor even said that Karthi was now like his brother. Looks like Karthi is following Nag's movies, including his productions, keenly. What explains his taking time out of his busy schedule to watch the digital trailer of a film like Nirmala Convent with no big star acting in it? Karthi not only watched it, but even tweeted a congratulatory message to Roshan, the debutante actor, who is the son of actor Srikanth.

In the same message, Karthi not only mentioned Roshan, but also spoke assuringly of "Nag sir" standing by his side. "Roshan, Good luck for #NirmalaConvent! Looks like a great start & having nag sir by your side is a blessing. ATB!"

G Naga Koteswara Rao will debut as the director with this film. Presented by Nagarjuna and produced by Annapurna Studios, the film is touted as a youthful romantic entertainer. Music is by Roshan Saluri. Cinematography is by SV Vishweshwar.
