Actor Yash's second instalment of the KGF franchise, KGF 2 is running successfully in cinemas with positive reviews from fans and cine celebrities. Now actor Karthi who will next be seen in Mani Rathnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan' has penned a mass congratulatory message to the KGF team.

Taking to his Twitter Karthi wrote, "#KGF2 The daringness to imagine something so BIG and presenting it with absolute style calls for huge applause. The visuals, dialogues and action elevates the enormity of the film and underscores the power of a mother's dream. CONGRATULATIONS team!!"

KGF 2 is a period drama written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. It is the second instalment in a two-part series, a sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj. It follows the assassin Rocky, who, after establishing himself as the kingpin of the Kolar Gold Fields, must retain his supremacy against adversaries and government officials, while also coming to terms with his past.

On the work front, Karthi is busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Sardar' alongside Rashi Khanna. A recent picture of this duo from Hyderabad was also doing the rounds on the internet lately. He will also be seen playing the role of Vallavaraiyan Vandiyadevan in 'Ponniyin Selvan'.
