IndiaGlitz was the first to break the news that Karthi will be playing a cop in director H.Vinoth's second film after the super hit and critically acclaimed 'Sathuranga Vettai'.

Now the 'Siruthai' star has confirmed the same in his interview to an English daily.This will be the second time he will appear in the majestic Kakhi attire after the blockbuster 'Siruthai' that released in 2011.

It has also been confirmed that S.R.Prakash Babu and S.R.Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures banner will be producing this project which is expected to go on floors from November or December 2016. The same banner has produced the grand horror fantasy flick 'Kaashmora' with Karthi which is expected to hit the screens on Deepavali festival.

Karthi is presently busy shooting for director Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai'. The film which has Aditi Rao Hyadari in lead roles is progressing on a rapid pace.
