S.R.Jangid was the Inspector General of Police who led the special team that nixed the atrocities of Bavaria dacoit gang upon which Karthi’s ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’ is based. The real ‘Theeran’ has expressed his feelings after the cop thriller.

Stating that the film has been exceptionally crafted, Jangid also appreciated Karthi and the director Vinoth for portraying the incidents as and how it happened from the perspective of the police.  He also expressed appreciation for the fact that Vinoth has taken his research seriously for the film such as holding veracity to facts about two of the dacoits being encountered and the rest nabbed.

Jangid also seemed to be visibly impressed with the commando efforts shown in the movie comparing it to Dulquer’s latest flick ‘Solo’. He also added that this is a film that all cops would love to watch. Currently S.R.Jangid is holding duty as a Director General of Police.
