Karthi has the penchant for giving pathbreaking films at regular intervals in his career with the most recent ones being 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' directed by H. Vinoth and the Diwali winner 'Kaithi' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The star actor has shared an emotional post on social media that goes I dont know if I can thank you all all for the love and appreciation you have given Kaithi. We set out to present an exciting story and our team put our heart into it. But we never expected such an overwhelming response. I take a big bow with a heartful of gratitude. Thank you and love you all.

To my brothers and sisters who have given me so much love and stayed with me in all the ups and downs, I’ll keep working hard to make you feel proud! Dilli will be back for you!
Karthi's next release is his untitled film directed by Jeethu Joseph and costarring Jyothika that is slated for Christmas holidays and he is also shooting for 'Sultan' directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan in which Rashmika Mandana plays his love interest.
