Speaking at the audio release function of 'Thozha', Karthi said that if there is an actor of whom his mother was a fan, it's Nagarjuna. Nag and Karthi shared good vibes while shooting for the bi-lingual which has been titled as 'Oopiri' in Telugu. Earlier, Nag had said that he had found a brother-like friend in Karthi.

Karthi said, "I became emotional listening to Nag sir's words. This film is a beautiful adaptation. Director Vamshi Paidipally has adapted the story to Indian sensibilities. I have always been a fan of Nag sir since childhood. If my mother is a fan of any actor, it is Nag sir's."

"The Intouchables is one of the greatest 20 films in world history. We were tensed as to what should be the title. Finally, we chosen this title. We have re-discovered ourselves with this film. It would have been impossible to make a film of this kind without PVP sir. In the same scene, you will cry, you will laugh. It's very difficult to write such scenes. We miss Kalpana mam. There is a scene in the second half. Nag sir killed it. We all cried while shooting for that scene. The audience, too, will," Karthi said, raising the expectations a notch higher.

Well, looks like we are in for one of the best multi-starrer films ever!
