Karthi is a leading actor in the south film industry who has a great market in the Tamil and Telugu states. Currently, he is working on the epic historical fiction film 'Ponniyin Selvan' by Mani Ratnam, the rural entertainer 'Viruman' by Muthaiah and the spy thriller 'Sardar' by PS Mithran.

Karthi will be romancing the well-known actress Raashi Khanna in Sardar. Indiaglitz had already informed you that the finale schedule shooting of the spy thriller film has kickstarted in Chennai. It is being reported that Karthi, Raashi Khanna and the rest of the cast & crew are present at the last leg filming.

Meanwhile, the technical work of Sardar is going on in full swing simultaneously. Now, the latest is that the business of the movie has kickstarted as sources say that the digital streaming rights of 'Sardar' have been acquired by the Aha Tamil OTT platform for a huge sum. However, the film will be released on OTT only after its theatrical run.

Karthi will be playing two different roles in Sardar and one of them will be an elderly getup. The ensemble cast of the film also includes Rashi Khanna, Simran, Rajisha Vijayan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu and Murali Sharma. GV Prakash Kumar scores the music for the film while George C. Williams served as the cinematographer and editing is taken care of by Ruben.
