Karthi’s 'Sardar' shooting progresses in Chennai - Heroine shares a BTS picture!

Karthi is a leading actor in Tamil cinema who is highly acclaimed for his performance in his debut movie, Paruthiveeran (2007) itself. Following the success of the film, he was best known for his roles in Aayirathil Oruvan, Paiyaa, Naan Mahaan Alla, Siruthai, Madras, Thozha, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Kadaikutty Singam and Kaithi.
Currently, Karthi is working in the epic periodic historical fiction film 'Ponniyin Selvan' by Mani Ratnam, the rural entertainer 'Viruman' by Muthaiah and the spy thriller 'Sardar' by PS Mithran. The production works of 'Sardar' has been going on for the last few months and now the next leg of the shooting is set to kickstart in Chennai.
Rashi Khanna, the heroine of 'Sardar', shared on her social media page that she was present at the filming in Chennai where the entire cast & crew, including Karthi, was present. Also, she shared a pretty selfie of herself from the shooting spot on her Twitter page, which is now going viral among the fans. Netizens have been showering likes and shares for the post.
Karthi will be playing two different roles in the film and one of them will be an elderly getup. The acclaimed actor is paired with Rashi Kanna in Sardar while the ensemble line of the cast also includes Simran and Rajisha Vijayan playing important roles. GV Prakash Kumar scores the music for the film while George C. Williams served as the cinematographer.
Sardar has been edited by Ruben and stunt choreography by Dhilip Subbarayan. The film marks Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey's Tamil debut. Munishkanth, Ilavarasu and Murali Sharma will be seen in the supporting roles. It is produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner Prince Pictures. Stay tuned for more updates on the movie.
