'Sardar' makers surprise the Karthi fans with the sequel announcement and unseen promo!

Karthi had back to back film releases in the last three months and those 3 movies managed to be profitable ventures. The versatile actor played dual roles of a cop and a top-secret spy in his recent release 'Sardar' which stormed the screens on October 21.
Sardar gained superb word of mouth from the general audience and was also acclaimed by critics. The film has become the fastest Rs 50 crore grosser in Karthi's filmography and is expected to surpass the collection of 'Kaithi', the highest grosser in his career. The team conducted a press meet yesterday marking the success of 'Sardar'.
The hot news is that the makers officially announced at the success meet that 'Sardar' will have a sequel. A special promo video of 'Sardar 2' was screened at the event and it was released on social media as well. It is worth mentioning that Karthi will be next seen in 'Ponniyin Selvan Part 2' and the actor will start shooting for 'Kaithi 2' next year.
