Actor Karthi, who was last seen in the romantic entertainer Dev directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar, and is currently acting in a gangster flick directed by Maanagaram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. Following this movie, Karthi has signed his next as well.

This movie will be directed by Remo director Bakkiyaraj Kannan and will mark the Tamil debut of Tollywood blockbuster Geetha Govindam and Kannada blockbuster Kirik party fame  Rashmika Mandanna. The actress will be seen in a homely role in the movie.

As revealed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan in a recent interview, the yet to be titled movie will be an action-packed family drama with ample dose of romance. Shooting will be starting in mid-March, and the movie also stars most wanted comedian Yogi Babu and Mansoor Ali Khan.  Vivek Mervin have been roped in to score the music, Sathya will be handling the camera and Antony L Ruben the editing.  The film is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures which is also bankrolling Karthi's 18th film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj as well.
