'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' directed by H. Vinod and starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh has become the talk of the town for its honest depiction of a true life police operation. While Karthi has nailed a pefect performance as the resilient cop praise is also due to Abhimanyu Singh who played Ohma the dreaded villain who kills recklessly for a living. He is not new to Tamil cinema as he has already played the angtagonist of Vijay twice in 'Velayudham' and 'Thalaivaa' and Vikram's '10 Enradhukkulla'.
Abhimanyu Singh has opened up about his experience working in 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru. He has stated that the minute the director narrated the script and said it is based on a true story he jumped at donning the role. Abhimanyu has high praise for director Vinod who according to him loves his actors even though he is a tough task master who does not rest till he gets his perfect shot.
As for Karthi, Abhimanyu lauds him as one of the most dedicated artiste who respects his co-artists to the maximum. , “Karthi is such a wonderful human being. He is always focussed towards improvisations and keeps working on it. He wants to the entire scenario with his best efforts. I found him so much disciplined, hardworking and at the same time much easy going.”
About the tough conditons Abhimany has stated “We had to shoot through the entire day under extreme climatic conditions. By the end of day, as I take bath, I would see that it takes 15 minutes to wash my face to see the dark waters. Such was the amount of dust. But now everything has encashed us with good success and I am really happy about.”
