Actor Karthi's 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' has been getting extremely positive reviews from all critics and it is expected to easily become a super hit venture at the box office. The film directed by H,Vinoth of 'Sathurangavettai' fame is based on  real life incidents which have been transformed to the screens with amazing attention to facts backed by heavy research work. This has surprised the fans and critics alike.

As a result the film has taken a huge opening across centers. In Chennai the  film has as recorded the biggest opening for Karthi with its first three days collections coming close to one crore and 75 lakhs (Rs.1,74,05,088). The total collections including the contribution of the Telugu version is Rs.1,78,16,439.. The trade calls it an 'Excellent Opening'. 

The film released in 21 screens across the city and it has had 271 shows in the first weekend. The film has had a 90% occupancy on average.
