The trailer of Karthi's new movie 'Sulthan' which was released on Wednesday has raised expectations for the film for its mass commercial elements. The film produced by Dream Warrior Pictures is directed by Bhakkyaraj Kannan and has Karthi, Rashmika Mandanna and Yogi Babu in the cast. The film hits the screens on April 2nd.

It is said that Karthi will now juggle Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' and a new movie directed by P.S. Mithran of 'Irumbu Thirai' and 'Hero' fame. The latest buzz is that Karthi will soon star in a new movie produced by his elder brother Suriya which will be directed by Muthiah.

Muthiah had directed 'Komban' with Karthi which went on to become a huge hit in 2015 dealing with the relationship of a rural son in law with his father in law. It is said that the sequel to this movie will be the one that Suriya is producing and Raj Kiran, Lakshmi Menon and Soori from the original will be reprising their roles.

Suriya had earlier produced Karthi's 'Kadaikutty Singam' directed by Pandiraj which was also money-spinner at the box office. Now the brothers reuniting for another film has both their fans excited. Stay tuned for more updates on this front.
