Karthi after delivering back to back hits 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' and 'Kadaikutty Singam' belonging to two different genres is currently on the verge of completing 'Dev' directed by Rajat Ravi Shankar and co-starring Navarasa Nayagan Karthik, Ramya Krishnan and Rakul Preet Singh.

The shooting of 'Karthi 18' commenced with a pooja on Wednesday and an action sequence was shot by stunt masters Anbariv. The film is directed by Logesh Kanagaraj who helmed the critically acclaimed 'Maanagaram'.

The unique nature of the script is that there is no heroine and pivotal roles are being played by Naren, Ramana and George Mariyaan. Music is by Sam CS, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan, editing by Philomin Raj and dialogues by Pon Parthiban. the project is jointly produced by Vivekananda Pictures and Dream Warrior Pictures.
