Karthi to romance a young beauty queen in his next movie?

Karthi who is one of the few stars who can handle both mass and class roles delivered a hattrick of blockbusters last year namely 'Viruman', 'Ponniyin Selvan' and 'Sardar'. He is currently on the verge of completing 'Japan' directed by Raju Murugan and costarring Anu Emmanuel in which he is playing a very quirky character.
We broke the news first to you that Karthi will soon start shooting for a new movie directed by Nalan Kumarasamy of 'Soodhu Kavvum' and 'Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum' fame. The film produced by Studio Green will go on floors on March 1st this year.
The hot buzz is that 26 year old Gayatri Bhardwaj is likely to play the female lead in the as yet untitled film. The model turned actress has reportedly participated in several beauty pageants and has won the Miss India Delhi contest in 2018.
Gayatri Bhardwaj made her acting debut in the Hindi web series 'Dindora' and is currently playing the female lead in Ravi Teja's Telugu movie 'Tiger Nageswara Rao'. Stay tuned for the official updates on the Karthi-Nalan film expected next week.
