Karthi had last delivered the romantic entertainer Dev directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar and Prince Pictures had produced the movie. Now he has wrapped his quickie Kaithi directed by Maanagaram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj and is working on his Jeethu Joseph movie co-starring Jyothika and Nikhila Vimal.

While he also has the untitled movie produced by Dream Warrior pictures, directed by Remo fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna who makes her Tamil debut, the actor has reportedly locked his next movie as well with a promising director.

Speculations are that Karthi has given his nod to star in a movie directed by young maker Karthik Thangavel who had made his debut last year with the Jayam Ravi starrer action thriller hit Adangamaru. This movie is expected to be produced by Prince pictures of Dev, and an official announcement is expected soon.
