Actor Karthi's 'Thozha' is getting ready to release in March and the talented actor is presently shooting for his first super natural horror thriller 'Kaashmora'. The film is being directed by Gokul of 'Idharkuthaney Aasaipattai Balakumara' fame with Nayanthara and Sridivya playing the female leads. Vivekh is acting as Karthi's father in the film.
Indiaglitz had reported earlier that Karthi is playing triple roles in this film. Now we have learnt that the 3D Face scan technology has been used in this film.
Karthi's face has been 3D scanned for an important sequence in the film which will go on for 15 minutes.
Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kochadiiyaan' and Suriya's 'Maatran' used the 3D scanning technology but they were full body scans. For that, Rajinikanth and Suriya had to visit the United States of America and the actor's full body was 3D scanned.
But for 'Kaashmora', Karthi's face has been scanned in a studio in Chennai. So we can say that 'Kaashmora' will be introducing the 3D Face Scan Technology in Tamil cinema which was done in Indian for the first time.
'Kaashmora' is being produced by S.R.Prabhu and S.R.Prakash Babu under the Dream Warrior Pictures Banner. Santhosh Narayanan is taking care of the musical score while Om Prakash has handled the camera.
