Karthi and Nalan Kumarasamy's 'Karthi 26' has a title? - Hot updates

We already brought it to you that Karthi is currently shooting for a song in his upcoming film, 'Japan', at Kashmir. The entire filming will be wrapped up with this song. He is simultaneously shooting for his next film (Karthi 26) directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. Now, we have hot updates on the much-awaited project.
As per sources, the makers have completed more than 50% percent of the shooting for Karthi 26. Sensational actress Krithi Shetty is paired with Karthi in this film directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. It will be a quirky film with Karthi playing a hardcore MGR fan. Reportedly, the movie is titled 'Vaa Vaathiyare'. The official announcement regarding the same will be made soon.
On the work front, Karthi will move to 'Karthi 27' directed by '96' fame Premkumar. This project will also have Arvind Swamy in a main role with music by Govind Vasantha and DOP by PC Sreeram. Karthi 27 is backed by 2D Entertainment. Karthi's sequel projects 'Sardar 2' and 'Kaithi 2' will commence after Karthi 27 in 2024.
