Karthi's 'Thozha' Censor Rating and Release date are here

After 'Komban' that released in early 2015, Karthi has not had a release for almost one year. The wait of fans of the actor is finally going to end soon as his mega budget multi-starrer film 'Thozha' will be hitting the screens on 25th of March.
'Thozha' is the official remake of French film 'The Intouchables' stars Karthi and Tollywood Superstar Nagarjuna in lead roles. Nagarjuna plays a quadriplegic in the film and Karthi acts as his caretaker. Tamannah plays the female lead. The film has been directed by Vamsi Paidipally in Tamil and Telugu (titled as 'Oopiri) and produced by PVP Cinemas on a grand scale. In this way this is Karthi's first direct Telugu film and Nagarjuna has dubbed for his character in Tamil for the first time in this film.
On Monday, official sources in PVP confirmed that 'Thozha' was watched by the Censor board officials who have given a clean U certificate for the film without recommending any cuts. They have also appreciated the film's content.
This is good news for the makers as the film will be eligible for the 30% Entertainment Tax cut given by the Tamil Nadu Government.
Anushka, Adivi Shesh and Shriya Saran play important cameo roles in the flick. Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and Ali have done supporting character. Gopi Sunder has scored the music and audio launch is expected to be held soon. P.S.Vinod has taken care of the cinematography.
'Thozha' is expected to hit the screens on March 25 and the producers have confirmed a March release.
