Actor Karthi is gearing up for his next release, 'Meiyazhagan,' a rural drama directed by Premkumar of '96' fame. Produced by Suriya under 2D Entertainment, the much-awaited film's release date was unveiled today with a new poster, building anticipation among fans.

According to the official update, 'Meiyazhagan' is set to hit screens worldwide on September 27th. The release date poster features Karthi standing releasing a bull in a Jallikattu field, adding to the film's anticipation. Notably, Jr NTR's Pan-Indian biggie 'Devara Part 1' is also scheduled for release on the same date, leading to an exciting box-office clash.

'Meiyazhagan,' a compelling story about friendship and family, also stars Aravind Samy, Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, Rajkiran, Devadharshini, Jayaprakash, Sriranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran, Raichel Rebecca, and many others. The film features music composed by Govind Vasantha, cinematography by Mahendiran Jayaraju, and editing by R. Govindraj.
