Karthi and Mammootty replace Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna?

Whenever Maniratnam writes a new script, it becomes everyday news for the media and it is no different with his follow up to the super hit OK Kanmani'. Before OK Kanmani' it was rumored that Maniratnam was planning a multi-starrer with Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Aishwarya Rai Bachan and Shruti Haasan which did not take off for unknown reasons.

Now that news is floating around that Karthi and Mammootty are coming together for Maniratnam makes one wonder if they have replaced Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna in the same script. If it is so then Aishwarya Rai and Shruti Haasan will definitely be on board. We will have to wait till the official announcement comes from the Maniratnam camp.
