Karthi's next movie wrapped!

Actor Karthi was last seen in the romantic adventure flick Dev directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar and costarring Rakul Preet Singh, Prakashraj and Ramya Krishnan. Released amidst huge expectations, the movie failed to sustain at the box office.
Karthi's next movie is the quickie Kaithi directory by Maanagaram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj and the movie which is produced by SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior pictures has been wrapped recently with a final sequence shot in
The movie is said to happen in a jail with Karthi and his jail inmates planning a prison break and showcases events leading to the escape from prison, happening in 4 hours. The movie also stars actors Vatsan and Kanna Ravi and is planned as a July release. Sam CS has scored music for this movie which does not have a female lead.
