Actor Karthi has been on a success streak, as his last two movies, the H.Vinoth directorial cop thriller Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, and the rural family entertainer Pandiraj directorial Kadaikutty Singam, both went on to be money spinners at the box office, making it a good comeback for him after the Kaatru Veliyidai debacle.

Now, the actor who is currently awaiting the release of Dev is shooting for his 18th flick, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who had earlier displayed immense promise on debut with the critically acclaimed hit Maanagaram. This movie is currently being shot at Tenkasi, and reportedly a major part of the movie will be shot here and the rest in Chennai.

This yet to be titled flick is said to showcase events happening over a day, and Karthi does not have a pair in this project. On the other hand, Karthi's next, Dev directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar and costarring Rakul Preet Singh has been making waves with its hit music by Harris Jayaraj and is gearing up for a February release.
