Karthi is one actor who proved his mettle by portraying a cop in ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’. When all of us were wondering what his next move would be, Karthi gave us a surprise that he’ll be essaying a farmer’s role in an upcoming Padiraj directorial titled ‘Kadikutty Singam’.

It is worth noting here that Karthi, in order to bring out authenticity in his performance, has been visiting agricultural experts and farmers to increase his knowledge in farming. The actor has also visited organic farming expert Venugopal with his family during which he was able to grasp some of the nuances of agriculture. Well, Karthi surely deserves a commendation for taking whatever steps needed to bring life to his role as an actor!

Apart from Karthi in the lead, ‘Kadaikutty Singam’ also features actresses Sayyesha Saigal and Priya Bhavani Shankar in major roles. The ensemble cast also includes Sathyaraj, Ponvannan and Soori as well.

Music composer D.Imman is scoring the songs for the film which is being produced by Suriya’s production banner 2D Entertainment.
