Leading hero Karthi earlier today paid last respects to his young fan Vinod who passed away suddenly. The 29 year old who was the treasurer of the Karthi Fans Club in South Chennai East District apparently sufferred a massive heart attack. The family of the young man broke down when Karthi visited their house in Thiruvanmiyur and garlanded the lifeless body.

It is worthy to mention that a few days ago, Karthi's elder brother Suriya also travelled to Namakkal and and paid his last respects to a hardcore fan who passed away. Netizens are praising the siblings for their gesture admiring the genuine bonding they have with their fans.

Karthi delivered three back to back blockbuster hits in 2022 namely 'Viruman', 'Ponniyin Selvan' and 'Sardar'. He is currently starring in 'Japan' directed by Raju Murugan and is set to star in films directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy and Premkumar later this year. His next release is Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' on April 28th.
