Kashmora`, directed by Gokul, and starring Karthi , Nayanthara, Sri Divya and Vivek in the lead roles, is touted as one of the biggest films in the offing from Kollywood. The story is reported to happen in two time frames and the same has been shot in thirteen grand sets.

The word Kashmora` roughly translates to 'the world of spirits' in English, but the other significance is that one of the characters Karthi plays, is also named Kashmora. Karthi appears as a King, a normal youth as well as a man with a tonsured head.

The news is that the Telugu theatrical rights of this have been acquired by Prasad V Potluri's production house. With this, the film has got a booster shot in Telugu.

The first look will be out on August 18.

The film has music by Santosh Narayanan of Kabali fame. Cinematography is by Om Prakash.
