Suriya unveils Karthi-Jyothika's exciting new movie title and first look

Suriya has announced the title of the new movie starring Karthi and Jyothika which is 'Thambi' and 'Donga' in Telugu. The exciting first look shows both Karthi and Jyothika in an intense pose suggestive of the genre. The film directed by Jeethu Joseph is the maiden production venture of Suraj Sadanah in association with Viacom 18 Studios. Already a film titled 'Thambi' released in 2006 directed by Seeman and starring Madhavan and Pooja.
'Thambi' has Karthi and Jyothika as siblings with Sathyaraj playing their father and is said to be a thriller film with a strong family touch like Jeethu Joseph's 'Drishyam' and 'Papanasam'. Govind Vasantha is scoring the music, R.D. Rajasekhar is handling the camera and the release is planned for December 2019.
