These are the tough times for the industry. At a time when films are struggling to make profits, Kollywood actors have found a new way to reach out to more audience, thereby making their movies safe. Of late, they have carefully been cultivating a market in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

Karthi, whose films are expected in Tollywood too, is often seen in Hyderabad. Even last week, the 'Siruthai' actor was in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh to take part in the audio launch of 'Malligadu', the Telugu dubbed version of 'Paruthi Veeran'. And his forthcoming film 'Saguni' is being made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

'Jayam' Ravi is not far behind. Gone are the days when the actor's films were inspired by Tollywood super hits. Now, his 'Engeyum Kadhal' is being dubbed in Telugu and he will be personally present in Hyderabad for its audio launch.

"Engeyum Kadhal (dubbed) coming soon in Telugu. I’ll be in Hyderabad for the audio launch next week and will confirm the title soon," he wrote on his microblogging page. Looks like a trend is in the making.
