Mani Ratnam and the cast of 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' including Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi and others are currently busy with promotional events for the movie. The makers have planned to visit several parts of the country to promote the film in all languages.

'Ponniyin Selvan 1' aka 'PS1' is all set to storm the screens on September 30. The production houses continuously shower updates on the fans by launching the working stills and unveiling unseen behind the scenes videos. An unscripted interaction video with making clips featuring Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Jayaram landed on the internet today.

The three play Vandhiyathevan, Arunmozhi Varman and Thirumalaiappan in 'PS1'. In the video, they talk about their characters, how they prepared themselves for the roles and the interesting & funny moments that happened during the shooting. The actors also discussed how Mani Ratnam and Ravi Varman gave their all to making the magnum opus.

They also talked about watching the 4 AM show together on the first day and catching the film on IMAX as well. It is worth mentioning that 'PS1' is the first Tamil to be released in IMAX format. The film will have a Pan-Indian release in 5 languages. AR Rahman scored the music for 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' with additional writing by Jeyamohan.
