An acclaimed Tamil director has turned actor for Karthi's new movie 'Japan' that was went on floors a few days back. The film produced by Dream Warrior Pictures is directed by Raju Murugan of 'Joker' fame.

It has just been reported that director Vijay Milton who received critical acclaim for his 'Goli Soda' and 'Kadugu' is debuting as actor in 'Japan'. He will be playing the role of a cop and has given 30 days call sheet considering the importance of the character. Vijay Milton's next directorial 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' starring Vijay Antony is complete and is awaiting release.

Anu Emmanuel is playing the female lead in 'Japan' while Telugu actor Sunil is the chief antagonist. G.V . Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for this multilingual releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada in mid 2023.
