Actor Karthi was in Kerala for the promotion of his latest movie Kaashmora, a fantasy/drama film. It is the Deepavali release of the actor and is directed by Gokul. The film is multi-genre and is a period film which had the perfect blend of horror, comedy and action.

While he was in Kerala, he was asked the question whether he will act with his brother Surya. The actor replied that he is very much looking forward for such an opportunity and if it is a villain role also he will accept it.

Nayantara and Sri Divya are the female leads in the movie. In the film Karthi appears in three characters - a black magician, a warlord and third one is not revealed. The actor seems to cherish high expectations about the film. His last outing with experimentation with fantasy and horror in Selvaraghavan`s Ayirathil Oruvan` was a flop at the box office.
