Actor Karthi has conducted a question and answer session with the Rajiv Gandhi Govt General Hospital President Dr. E Deranirajan who is also the head of the Madras Medical College. The online event was facilitated by the Greater Chennai Corporation to spread the maximum awareness about the dos and donts in the COVID 19 pandemic and doubts regarding the vaccination.
Karthi posed the question of whether there are any changes in the symptoms of the coronavirus in the second wave to which the learned doctor replied that there is more severe fever, headaches, and stomach upsets reported in comparison with the first wave. The 'Sulthan' hero inquired whether a CT scan is mandatory the doctor replied that only if there is difficulty in breathing and severe pneumonia it is necessary to undergo the scan.
