Karthi after delivering three back to back blockbuster hits 'Sulthan', 'Viruman' and 'Ponniyin Selvan' is gearing up for the worldwide release of his next 'Sardar' this Friday, October 21st.
Apart from being a top hero, Karthi is known for his philanthropist activities through his organization Uzhavan Foundation. He has released a new video to emphasize proper waste management that should convert waste into value. He pointed out that those who come to Chennai always complain about the heat and wastes on the streets.
The star who brought Vadhiyathevan to life recalled that during childhood he would get the things used by his brother such as a bicycle and then pass it on to his younger sister Brinda. Similarly his advice is that things should not go waste but be passed it on for others to use.
Karthi has gifted an autographed guitar that his mother gave him at age 10 which remained with him for close to forty years. He hoped that it would bring happiness to someone rather than going waste.
The social conscious star will be in action in dual roles this weekend in 'Sardar' directed by P.S. Mithran and produced by Prince Pictures with G.V. Prakash scoring the music. Karthi, Rajisha Vijayan, Raashi Khanna, Muniskanth and Chunkey Pandey form the principal cast.
