Karthi brims with hope

Karthi has joined the club of Rajini title users. He is playing the lead in 'Naan Mahan Alla', a film produced by K E Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and directed by 'Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu'-fame Suseendran.
Quick to deny that the new version is no remake of Rajinikanth film, the actor says, The title suits well for the story and hence the decision.
Playing Karthi's ladylove is the hot and happening actress in Tollywood Kajal Agarwal. 'Naan Mahan Alla' will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the music composer of Karthi's last venture 'Paiyaa' and camera by Madhi.
The film is about a callous youth, who leads a happy life. An incident changes the course of his life, the actor adds. Buzz is that the movie would be released in Telugu simultaneously, as Karthi's films including 'Aayirathil Oruvan' and 'Paiyaa' did good business in Tollywood.
