Actor Karthi is working on his 18th flick directed by Maanagaram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj, and it has been speculated that the movie is titled Kaidhi, and the first look of this gangster flick without a heroine, and happening over a night is expected soon.

Following this quickie, Karthi will begin shooting for his next movie directed by Remo fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan, which will be a romantic family drama costarring Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna. Now an exciting new update is out on Karthi's next movie as well.

Karthi will be joining hands with director Jeethu Joseph, best known for his Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam and its Tamil remake Papanasam starring Kamal Haasan, and this movie will have Jyothika in a pivotal role as per latest buzz. An official announcement is expected soon on this news.
