Karthi pays respect to slain real life “Theeran” Periyapandian

Periyapandian the Inspector of Police at Tirunelveli district was on a man hunt to nab jewellery robbers in Rajasthan when he was killed by them.  Actor Karthi who was shooting in Tenkasi for a new film directed by Pandiraj visited the grave of the officer and paid his respects.

Karthi played one such Inspector of Police in the recent hit ‘Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru’ and Periyapandian’s life too has a striking resemblance to the film.  Karthi heaped praises on the slain cop stating that he had lived his life of example as his only goal was to serve the people.
