Official! Karthi’s ‘Viruman’ gets an earlier release date

Karthi's upcoming film 'Viruman' is gearing up for an earlier release. The rural entertainer, directed by Muthaiah and produced by Suriya & Jyothika's 2D Entertainment, marks the debut of ace director Shankar's daughter Aditi. The shooting is over and the post-production works are underway.
It was earlier announced that Viruman will be released on August 31. Now, there is officially a change in the movie's release date. Last night, the makers took to social media to announce that Viruman will hit the screens on August 12 itself. Revealing brand-new posters, the production house wrote, All set to take the screens by storm! #Viruman in theatres from August 12th! (sic).
On the other hand, we already broke to you that the Viruman audio launch is all set to take place on August 3 in Madurai. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the film which also stars Rajkiran, Soori, Prakash Raj and others in supporting roles. The story is said to be built around a father-son relationship.
