Karthi's 'Viruman' swaps release date with Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra'?

'Viruman' is among one of the three releases lined up for release in actor Karthi's pipeline. The talented actor teamed up with director Muthaiah again after 'Komban' for this upcoming film, which is produced by Suriya-Jyothika's 2D Entertainment.
Also, ace director Shankar's daughter Aditi is making her acting debut with Viruman. Touted to be a mass rural entertainer, the movie is said to be built around a father-son relationship. The shooting was wrapped recently, and the post-production work for the film is progressing steadily.
We already broke to you that Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' is postponed from August 11 to August 31. Now, the latest buzz suggests that the release of Viruman is preponed to August 11 (from the earlier date of August 31) owing to the delay in the release of Cobra. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring music for the movie which also stars Rajkiran, Soori, Prakash Raj, and others.
