We all know that director Mani Ratnam's next film has been titled as 'Kaatru Veliyidai' and it stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles.

This film is being made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual owing to the patronage for the ace director's films and Karthi's popularity among Telugu speaking audience.

Now it has been revealed that the Telugu version of the film has been titled as 'Duet'. This is the title of the Tamil film directed by Iyakkunar Sigaram K.Balachander. The film released in 1994 had Prabhu. Ramesh Aravind and Meenakshi Seshadri in lead roles.

It is an interesting fact that Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman scored the music for the yesteryear 'Duet' and all the songs that chartbuster album still remain evergreen. It is the same composer working on the musical score for 'Duet' and 'Kaatru Veliyidai'.
