IndiaGlitz had reported earlier that ace director Mani Ratnam will be shooting some portions of his upcoming 'Kaatru Veliyidai' in a European nation. Now we have more details about the same.

We learn from a reliable source that the 'Kaatru Veliyidai' team will be flying to Serbia for an action sequence in an aircraft. This will be the final schedule of shooting of this film and it will last for around 10 days.

The Indian authorities strictly refused to give permission for the shoot a fight scene in aircraft and that's why the makers had to opt for a foreign locate. It is worth noting that visiting a foreign locale for shooting of his films has been a very rare phenomenon in this veteran's illustrious career.

Karthi and Aditi Rao Hyadari play the lead roles in this film that will have A.R.Rahman's music score. The film is scheduled to hit the screens in March 2017.
