Superb update from the shooting of 'Karthi 27' directed by Premkumar!

Karthi, who recently completed 25 films in his career, is now busy with a couple of projects - 'Karthi 26' and 'Karthi 27'. As per the latest update, the actor wrapped up his portions in 'Karthi 27', directed by Premkumar of '96' fame. This film is tentatively titled 'Mei Azhagan'.
The shooting of 'Karthi 27' kicked off only a few months ago and is racing towards the finish line. The entire filming will be wrapped up soon. This movie is said to be an emotional family drama with Arvind Swamy in a pivotal role while popular serial actress Swathi Konde plays the female lead. Actress Sri Divya will be seen as Karthi's sister in this flick.
The title and first look of 'Karthi 27' is expected to be revealed soon. It has music scored by Govind Vasantha. More updates on the cast and crew are awaited. On the work front, Karthi also has his 26th film directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, 'Sardar 2' by PS Mithran, 'Kaithi 2' by Lokesh Kanagaraj and other exciting projects.
