Karthi rocks as a quirky burglar in the kickass ‘Japan’ teaser!

Karthi is one of the most sought-after heroes in the Tamil film industry known for his versatility. Now, the actor has taken up a peculiar role in his 25th film, ‘Japan’. The makers of the movie launched an “intro video” to the world of Japan today marking Karthi’s birthday.

Karthi was seen as a quirky thief with golden teeth in the minute-long video. His screen presence and dialogue delivery in the teaser promises that the film is going to be very enjoyable. While Anu Emmanuel plays the female lead, the film stars Sunil, Vijay Milton, Vagai Chandrasekhar, Bava Chelladurai and many others in vital roles.

Earlier today, the team revealed that Japan is set to hit the screens on Diwali 2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Actors Simbu, Vijay Devarakonda and Rakshit Shetty launched the teaser in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada respectively. Japan will clash with Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Ayalaan’, SJ Suryah & Raghava Lawrence’s ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ and Dhanush’s ‘Captain Miller’ at the box office.

The intro video had a pulsating background score by GV Prakash, eye-pleasing visuals by Ravi Varman and enthralling cuts by Philomin Raj. Raju Murugan directed the movie bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures. Japan’s technical team includes stunts by Anl Arasu, art direction by Mahendran and costumes by Praveen Raja.
