PUBG addict cuts off father's head to play in 'peace'

A 25-year-old man from Karnataka's Belagavi district chopped off his father's head in a fit of rage after a heated argument between the duo over the former's addiction to PUBG.
The accused, identified as Raghuveer Kumbar, allegedly used to spend hours on his phone playing the online game, which has previously led to several arguments between him and his father, identified as 65-year-old Shankrappa Kumbar. He was a retired police officer. On Sunday night, another such argument ensued between the two of them, leading Raghuveer to perform the heinous act. He apparently did that in order to play in 'peace.' The accused has been arrested and interrogation is in progress.
PUBG is an online battle royale game that gained traction soon after its PC and Xbox One launch and became a sensation when the game was released on iOS and Android devices.
