Actress Rajisha Vijayan's much-awaited sports drama 'Kho Kho' which hit the theatres on April 14 as a Vishu release, has been withdrawn from the cinema halls owing to the increasing COVID-19 cases. As you know, the movie opened to a positive response from the audience and critics alike. The screening of the movie, which had been running successfully in theatres, has been stopped from today.
Rajisha took to her social media platform to share the sad news. “With a heavy heart we are taking the decision to withdraw Kho Kho from the theatres in Kerala due to the current COVID 19 related crisis. Even though we would have loved to have you watch our film in theatres, we have to keep the health and safety of our audience as the foremost priority. Kindly take all the necessary precautions and stay safe. Kho Kho will reach you through another platform soon. This too shall pass. ??♥️,” Rajisha Vijayan wrote in her Instagram post.
Directed by Rahul Riji Nair, the movie features Rajisha in the role of a Kho Kho coach. The movie is likely to release through OTT platforms soon.
