The remake of Sanjay Dutt's 'Satte Pe Satta' remake witnessed musical chairs being played by several actresses. For the female lead played by Hema Malini in original, we read how the project changed hands from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit to Vidya Balan.

After the actresses refused the movie director Soham Shah said to have approached B-town's original hot babe Karisma Kapoor to play Hema's character - as that of a nurse and Sanjay's wife.

Birdies revealed that in fact Dutt had initially spoken with Karisma before he went to Vidya. But at that time Lolo was not interested in making a screen comeback and so the project was passed over to Vidya.

And now, when Karisma is seriously making an entry into the industry with Vikram Bhatt's 'Dangerous Ishq', the makers of 'Satte Pe Satta' remake felt that this would be the right time to approach the actress again.

It is heard that Lolo has read the script and showed her interest to do the remake. For the time being, her final decision is being waited upon by the makers.
