After the comedy drama, ‘Hindi Medium’ starring amazingly talented Irrfan Khan and Saba Qabar impressed millions of us, the makers had announced to stun us again with its sequel which will be titled as ‘English Medium’. The makers were waiting for Irrfan to complete the treatment of his neuroendocrine tumour, and everyone was curious to know who the leading lady would be. Well, it’s now pretty high time to spill the beans! It has been confirmed that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been roped in to star in the sequel and that too in an interesting role where she will be seen playing the role for the very first time in her 19-year long career.

Bebo will be seen essaying the role of a Police officer in the film. According to a report, “While the film kicks off in April, Kareena will join the unit only by May-end during the London schedule. She will be seen as a cop in the satire. While she loved the script, Kareena was just as excited to play a police officer for the first time in her 19-year-long career. She intends to wrap up the sequel by November, in time to begin shooting for Karan Johar's period drama Takht.”

The sequel will be directed by Homi Adajania and will be produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film is based on the story of Irrfan’s daughter who will be heading to the US for education. And, now, we really can’t wait to watch this stunning duo on screen! What say?
