As reported earlier, Kareena Kapoor was honoured by the UK Parliament, at the House of Commons, recently on 29th October.

The event witnessed the presence of MPs and members of Bradford Metropolitan District Council who honoured certain artists for their contribution to the global entertainment industry - hosted by Asian Sunday newspaper.

Bebo, who looked elegant in grey ethnic attire (by Manish Malhotra), was honoured by noted NRI MP Rt Hon Keith Vaz, Chairman of Britain's Home Affairs Committee.

Incidentally, Kareena is the only Bollywood artist to be honoured at British Parliament since Mr Bachchan, and is also the first Bollywood actress to earn such recognition from UK Parliament.

Singer Kimberley Walsh and magician Dynamo aka Steven Frayne was also honoured at the event.
